Tour C covers the most dramatic part of Bacuit Bay, around Matinloc Island. You swim through a gap in the rock into Secret Beach, discover Hidden Beach between limestone walls and snorkel at Helicopter Island or Star Beach.
What the day includes
- Around 9 am departure from El Nido beach on a shared bangka.
- Secret Beach, Hidden Beach and Matinloc Shrine.
- Snorkeling on coral reefs.
- Grilled beach lunch and return around 5 pm.
Who it is for
Swimmers comfortable in the water: reaching Secret Beach means swimming a few metres between rocks, with a life jacket if you prefer. Not for those uneasy in open water.
What to bring
- Water shoes (the rocks are sharp).
- Dry bag, reef-safe sunscreen and towel.
- Cash for the eco fee and Matinloc entry.
Best time
November to May, with calmer seas. Tour C is the first to be cancelled in rough weather because it is exposed to swell; in the rainy season it may be swapped for another tour.
