Bora Bora Sunset Cruise with Champagne

Ninety minutes gliding across the Bora Bora lagoon at sunset, with just a few couples, champagne in a coconut and professional photos.

The sun setting behind Mount Otemanu and the lagoon turning from turquoise to gold: that is a Bora Bora sunset. This romantic cruise leaves in the late afternoon on a small boat with a maximum of four couples.

What you do

  • Hotel pick-up in the late afternoon.
  • Glide gently over the lagoon’s shallow waters.
  • Champagne served in a fresh coconut as the sun sets.
  • Professional photo session on board, with about 20 photos delivered on a USB stick.

Who it is for

Designed for couples, honeymoons and anniversaries. Also a perfect setting for a proposal.

What to bring

  • Comfortable, smart clothes for the photos.
  • A light layer for the way back.
  • Mosquito repellent.

Best time

All year. May to October usually has clearer skies; in the rainy season clouds create very vivid sunsets.

Good to know

Departure is around 16:30 and it lasts 1 hour 30 minutes. The group is small, up to four couples. In bad weather the date is changed or refunded. The boat glides over sandbanks only a metre or two deep, so you can see rays and fish beneath the hull. It is one of the calmest ways to enjoy the lagoon.

Included

  • Small-group sunset cruise
  • Champagne in a coconut
  • Professional photos (20 on USB)
  • Hotel pick-up
