The PADI Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification and the most recognised in the world. In Ibiza you train in visibility that often exceeds 20 metres, among Posidonia meadows, walls and coastal caves.
How the course works
- Theory in digital format, at your own pace before or during the trip.
- 4 confined-water dives to practise skills.
- 4 open-water dives with your instructor.
- Lifetime PADI certification.
Who it is for
Anyone aged 10 or over who can swim and is reasonably fit. You complete a medical questionnaire first; any yes answer requires a doctor’s sign-off.
What to bring
- Swimwear and towel.
- Your own mask if you have one.
- Comfortable shoes and sunscreen.
Best time
