In Tenerife the seabed drops to hundreds of metres very close to shore, making it one of Europe’s best destinations for deep sea fishing. This four-hour shared trip leaves from southern harbors such as Puerto Colón or Los Cristianos.
What you will fish
- Trolling for tuna (skipjack, yellowfin, bigeye depending on season).
- Wahoo and dorado, and in summer a chance of billfish.
- Bottom fishing when trolling is slow.
How it works
The skipper and deckhand rig the rods and lures and show you how to fight the fish. Responsible fishing is practised: billfish are released and only catches allowed by Canary Islands rules are kept.
Who it is for
Experienced anglers and curious beginners, as well as companions who just want to enjoy the ride. Fishing licence included on the boat, and the crew will help you at every step, from baiting to landing your fish.

- Seasickness tablets if you are prone.
- A light jacket for the morning.
