These islands have beautiful coves and beaches all along their coastline, with stunning sunsets that colour their crystal clear waters and golden sands:
- Cala Bassa: it is located in the west of Ibiza and is surrounded by a dense pine forest, whose calm waters simulate an enormous natural swimming pool.
- Cala Conta: surrounded by fine, pearly sands and turquoise waters. It is very popular with tourists during the holidays.
- Cala Gracioneta: it is a beautiful cove of small size, with a striking and intense turquoise colouring in its calm waters.
- Cala Llenya: sheltered by a leafy pine forest, its waters are clear and with a strong swell, ideal for surfing.
- Cala Llonga: It is located in a deep inlet, close to Santa Eulalia. It is a quiet beach with easy access.
- Cala de San Vicente: its warm blue waters are guarded by pine-covered mountains. It is located to the northwest of Ibiza. It has good services on the terraces of the promenade.
- Cala Portinatx: it is an urbanised cove with clear waters and golden sands, conserving its natural charm.
- Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta: paradisiacal coves surrounded by a beautiful green environment, considered one of the best beaches in Ibiza.
- Cala Vadea: located in the southwest of Ibiza, in a quiet sea inlet and surrounded by rocky walls, a spectacle of nature.
- Figueretas: it is located in the town centre of Ibiza, and is one of the most visited beaches on the island. It is made up of a group of coves and is equipped with good services for users and visitors.
- Las Salinas beach: it is located in the Ses Salines National Park. It is one of the most popular beaches in Ibiza with celebrities and public figures.
- Playa d’en Bossa: it has a lively and party atmosphere, due to the clubs near the beach. It has quiet areas to enjoy a relaxing day by the sea.
- Sa Caleta or Es Bol Nos: it has steep cliffs with rocks and reddish-coloured sands, which give a cosy effect to the place.
- Cala Saona: a beach wedged between two cliffs, covered with fine white sand, guarded by a beautiful dune system and a leafy pine forest. It is very busy, with a high influx of tourists. Ideal for diving.
- Es Arenals: beach located in the southwest area of Formentera. A natural environment made up of an extensive stretch of coastline, with crystal-clear, calm waters that are ideal for snorkelling.
- Es Pujols: this is one of the most popular beaches on Formentera, with slopes of fine golden sand, calm waters and a gentle slope, reaching a depth of 1.5 metres at 50 metres from the shore.
- Llevant: beach with fine white sand, dune vegetation and strong winds in summer, with powerful waves.
- Set billetes: natural environment that forms part of the Ses Salines Natural Area of Special Interest. One of the favorite places for scuba divers to practice scuba diving in this beautiful and paradisiacal place.
Historic centre of Dalt Vila: it is an old city surrounded by imposing Renaissance walls, declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
- Can Marcá Cave: a beautiful natural enclave more than a thousand years old, located inside a cliff in Port de Sant Miquel. It has impressive natural formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, lakes and waterfalls.
- Islote de Es Vedrá: this is a colossal rock pyramid that rises 400 metres above sea level. It is located in the southwest of Ibiza, opposite Cala d’Hort. This nature reserve is renowned for its ecological value and energy-accumulating properties.
- Ses Salines Natural Park: this is a protected area located between Ibiza and Formentera, covering an area of 16,000 hectares.
- Es Cap de Barbaria: it is located on the southwest end of Formentera, on a cliff 100 metres above sea level. In its surroundings is La Cova Foradada, a grotto that leads to a large viewpoint. It is ideal for watching the sunsets.
- Lighthouse of La Mola: one of the most important tourist attractions, with impressive views of the Mediterranean, located on the edge of a cliff 120 metres above sea level. It has a cultural space for the dissemination of the island’s maritime heritage (exhibition area, space for concerts).
- Mirador de Formentera: this is an obligatory tourist stop located to the east of Formentera, to admire the whole of the island. One of the best times to visit it is at the end of the day, to contemplate the reddish tones of the landscape at sunset.
- Mills: one of the architectural and iconic elements of the island, reflecting the history and importance of wheat production on the island. There are 7 imposing windmills for grinding grain.
- Defense Towers: The island of Formentera has an ancient system of defensive towers built in the 18th century, distributed along the coast: Torre de Sa Guardiola, Torre de Punta Prima, Torre Des Pi Des Català or Torre de Migjorn, Torre des Garroveret and Torre de Sa Gavina. Their main objective was to protect the island from possible pirate raids from North Africa, which frequently attacked the Mediterranean coasts.
