A skippered RIB is the most flexible way to see the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park. Fast and shallow-draught, it reaches coves where big boats cannot anchor and avoids peak hours on the best-known beaches.
Typical route
- Morning departure from Palau, Cannigione or Poltu Quatu.
- The islands of Spargi (Cala Corsara), Budelli and the Santa Maria natural pool.
- Snorkel and swim stops in turquoise water.
- Lunch at an island restaurant or a picnic on board.
- Return along the Caprera coast in the late afternoon.
Who it is for
Families and groups of up to 9 who want a private day without group timetables. The skipper speaks Italian and English and respects the park’s protected areas, where landing on the Pink Beach is forbidden.
What to bring
Swimwear, towel, sunscreen, cap, water and a windproof jacket.
Best time: May to October; with a strong mistral the route keeps to sheltered waters.
