The paraw is a light sailboat with two side outriggers and a big sail. Local sailors handle it skilfully and, with good wind, it picks up real speed while you sit on the net between hull and float.
What the experience includes
- Departure from White Beach, usually at Station 1, 2 or 3.
- Around 60 minutes of sailing along the west coast as the sun sets over the sea.
- Time for photos from the net and, in calm water, to dip your feet.
Who it is for
Couples, families with children and groups of friends. No sailing skills needed: just enjoy. Life jackets are on board.
What to bring
Swimwear or clothes that can get wet, a dry bag for your phone and sunglasses. It can get quite splashy.
Best time
November to May, with the amihan wind and the beach at its best. Departure is set between 5 and 6 pm depending on sunset. In strong winds or bad weather it may be cancelled for safety.
Paraws wait at the shoreline and boarding is from the sand, in knee-deep water. After booking we send you the exact meeting point on White Beach and the details of your boat and crew.
Included
- Private paraw with local crew
- Life jackets
- 1-hour sunset sail
