Jacques Cousteau called the Sea of Cortez “the aquarium of the world”, and La Paz is its best gateway. This two-tank trip usually combines Los Islotes, to dive with sea lions, with a second site such as El Bajo (seamounts with schooling fish and sometimes mobulas and hammerheads), the Salvatierra wreck or Espíritu Santo reefs.
