We leave Puerto Banús on a 12-metre sport-fishing boat with rods, reels, bait and fish finder. The skipper picks the technique by season: trolling in open water for bonito, frigate tuna and mahi-mahi, or bottom fishing over rocky banks for snapper, bream and sea bream.
The trip
- Early-morning or afternoon departure.
- 20 to 40 minutes’ cruise to the fishing grounds.
- Explanation of techniques and help with rigging.
- Catch-and-release for small fish.
Who it is for
For experienced anglers and complete beginners alike. We recommend no more than 7 anglers so everyone has room. Children are welcome with an adult.
What to bring
Comfortable clothes, cap, polarised sunglasses, sunscreen and a light jacket. If you get seasick, take precautions before you go.
Best time: May to October for pelagic species; bottom fishing works almost all year.
