An eFoil is a board with a silent electric motor and a hydrofoil wing that lifts it above the surface. The feeling is smooth, quiet flight, and in Marbella it is ridden on the calm water off the Golden Mile beaches.
How the lesson works
- Beach briefing on the remote, stance and safety.
- First minutes lying down and kneeling to control speed.
- Standing up and first flights with the instructor beside you on a board or boat.
- Helmet, buoyancy vest and radio communication included.
Who it is for
Anyone aged 12+ with no experience. Surfers and wakeboarders often fly within 20 minutes, but anyone with decent balance gets there.
What to bring
Swimwear, towel and sunscreen. A wetsuit is provided in spring and autumn.
Best time: April to October, early in the morning when the sea is usually flat.
