Not everything in Raja Ampat is underwater. Inland on Waigeo island, near the village of Warsambin, a spring feeds Kali Biru, a river of cool, clear water with an intense blue color, surrounded by rainforest.
The excursion
- Transfer by boat or car from Waisai to Warsambin.
- A 45 to 60 minute jungle walk with a local guide.
- Time to swim and relax in the blue pools.
- Birds, butterflies and endemic plants along the way.
Who it is for
Travellers with normal fitness who want a jungle day between dive days. The trail can be muddy with roots, so it is not suitable for reduced mobility.
