Few places offer a classroom like this: Raja Ampat‘s reefs hold more than 1,500 fish species and three quarters of the world’s known corals. Earning your PADI Open Water Diver here means every training dive is already a spectacular one.
Course structure

- Confined-water skills, usually on the house reef.

Who it is for
Anyone aged 10+ who can swim and is in good health. You complete a medical questionnaire and a doctor’s clearance is requested if needed.

Best time: October to April, with calmer seas; the Dampier Strait is dived all year.
All visitors need the Raja Ampat Marine Park permit, paid once and valid for the whole year.
