The north of Paros is perfect for sea kayaking: sheltered bays, lighthouses, cliffs and the granite formations of Kolymbithres. We set off from the beach beside the Paros Environmental Park in Naoussa Bay with a local guide.
How the trip works
- Technique and safety briefing, then off in stable sea kayaks.
- In calm conditions, a route to the lighthouse and the remotest cliffs; in wind, a downwind route to Kolymbithres.
- Two swim and snorkel stops in crystal-clear coves.
- Picnic on an islet with a white chapel before heading back.
Who it is for
Active people, couples and families with older children. No previous experience needed, but normal fitness to paddle for several hours with breaks. Single and double kayaks are available, and the pace is set by the group so nobody is left behind.
What to bring
